CanEduDev – Returns & Exchanges Policy

At CanEduDev, we are committed to delivering reliable, high-quality educational tools, including our Demo Rover systems, modular components, and supporting hardware. This policy outlines our approach to returns, exchanges, and replacements.

General Return Policy

Products may be returned within 30 days of delivery if they are unused, in original condition, and complete with all included parts and packaging. This applies to most standard Rovers, CAN interface modules, ECUs, and accessories listed on our web shop.

Custom-built configurations are not eligible for full return, but we will replace any non-functioning components under our standard defect policy.

Used items, incomplete returns, or damaged components may be subject to restocking fees or rejected for refund.

How to Initiate a Return

To begin the return process, email support@canedudev.com with:

  • Your order number

  • A brief description of the reason for return

  • Any relevant images (e.g., shipping damage, defect)

Our team will respond within two business days with instructions.

Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a confirmed defect or shipping error.

Exchanges

We allow exchanges for different Rover models or compatible components if requested within 30 days and the original product is in returnable condition.

For custom-built products, exchanges are only processed if a component is found defective. We do not offer design-level rebuilds once the product has been assembled and shipped.

Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective item or an order arrives damaged, contact us immediately. We will troubleshoot the issue and, where applicable, ship a replacement component at no extra cost.

Please include:

  • Order number

  • Description of the issue

  • Photos or video of the defect

Our engineering team will determine whether the issue qualifies for replacement under our warranty guidelines.

Refunds

Refunds are issued once we’ve received and inspected the returned item. If approved, a refund will be made to your original payment method within 7 business days.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless we made an error in fulfillment.

Products Not Eligible for Return

  • Custom-built Rover configurations (unless components are defective)

  • Items showing signs of modification or misuse

  • Downloadable software or digital content (where applicable)
